ABOUT

Max, our lead guitarist, has been shredding since high school. He started playing gigs while in college at Clark University in Worcester, MA and hasn't looked back since. He is influenced by the likes of Slash, Prince, MJ Lenderman, Eddie Van Halen, George Harrison, and that Chris guy from Peach Pit.

Adi, our lead singer, has been singing beautifully all her life. She even opened for Rick Ross at the Worcester Palladium back in 2021. We had the pleasure of welcoming her into the gang in the fall of 2024. She loves Fleetwood Mac, the Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, and Lizzy McAlpine.

Rob, our bassist and singer, put together Hot Start in the fall of 2023 with AP (college bud who has since moved to LA) and Max (childhood dawg) when the trio started jamming in his Canton, MA dining room turned jam room. His background is classical, as he played the cello from 4th grade through senior year of high school. He is also heavily influenced by his dad who has played in various Grateful Dead cover bands over the years.

Jack, the dude on the kit, is originally a Western Mass guy who joined the band in the fall of 2025. Drumming from a young age, he started playing shows with a band, that formed in the dormitories of UMass Amherst, by the name of Krunch Time. Funny enough, Rob first saw Jack play at random garage show in Amherst back in 2022.

Luke, our rhythm guitar ripper, is out of Scituate, MA. Luke and Rob met while enjoying an Easy Honey set at the Levitate Rexicana in Marshfield. Luke has been itching to join the indie scene since college when he became enthralled with up-and-coming bands such as The Stews, Colors in Corduroy, Easy Honey, and Winyah.
